Featured Exhibits and Activities at the Book Fair
The world’s largest and most prestigious exhibition is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special showcase from the University of California, Berkeley’s Bancroft Library. The library boasts an extensive collection of literary fiction, mystery, fantasy, science fiction, and western books. Displays from Bancroft Library and other local libraries will include exclusive, one-of-a-kind works from their collections. Moreover, local book artists and organizations will create engaging and informative activities to entertain visitors all weekend. Unique souvenirs created by calligraphers, bookbinders, and small press operators will be available for attendees of all ages to take home. The fair will also feature a number of seminars providing important book collecting strategies, valuable selling tips, free appraisals, and presentations that will bring to public recognition the craftsmanship and rich history of antiquarian books.
